Jayne Hazon

Jayne is one of Cansford Laboratories Reporting Scientists. She is based in the beautiful county of Northumberland, near to Hadrian’s Wall.

Jayne’s journey into the world of hair testing began at TrichoTech in 2009. From there she gained experience across a number of laboratories before joining Cansford. During her career Jayne has written reports for drugs of abuse and alcohol markers across a wide range of biological matrices, as well as having worked in all aspects of hair testing. This has given her a thorough understanding of the testing process, bringing a broad perspective and well-rounded understanding to the company. With a strong analytical approach and a keen attention to detail, Jayne is committed to maintaining high standards of quality and clarity in all her work. She is recognised for her methodical approach, clear communication style, and dedication to producing robust, well‑structured scientific reports.

Jayne is a longstanding member of the Society of Hair Testing (SoHT), The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT), and the LTG (formerly the London Toxicology Group).

Outside of work, she enjoys training her ex-racehorses for dressage. The same level of focus and attention to detail are required to ensure the health and wellbeing of such beautiful and complex creatures.
