Sian Timbrell

Sian is the HR expertise behind the scenes at Cansford, providing consultancy support through her own practice, Pragmatic HR. Having worked with Cansford for a number of years, she is very much part of the furniture in the best possible way, bringing a consistent, trusted presence to the people side of the business.

True to the name of her practice, Sian takes a no-nonsense, practical approach to HR, cutting through complexity to give straightforward, sensible guidance that actually works in the real world.

When she’s not untangling employment law or supporting the team, Sian can be found on the slopes. A keen skier, she brings the same sure-footedness to the mountains as she does to her work, though presumably with better scenery.
